Resource Listing and Correction Standards
Last updated: August 24, 2026
CBOMH publishes community information to make the search for mental health and related support less confusing. A listing is informational and does not constitute medical advice, a referral, accreditation, or an endorsement of a provider’s services.
What we look for
- A clear service area and current public contact information.
- Transparent eligibility, cost, insurance, or sliding-scale information when available.
- Services relevant to mental health, crisis support, basic needs, navigation, or community wellbeing.
- Respectful, lawful, and non-exploitative practices.
Verification and changes
Resource details can change without notice. We periodically review listings, but we cannot guarantee availability, eligibility, cost, wait times, licensing status, or outcomes. Visitors should verify important details directly with the organization or an appropriate licensing authority.
Corrections and removal requests
If you represent a listed organization or notice inaccurate information, use our Contact page. Identify the listing, the information that should change, and a public source we can use to verify the correction. We may update, annotate, or remove a listing at our discretion.
Community partners
Organizations interested in a deeper collaboration should use the Community Partner Application. Partnership and sponsorship relationships will be disclosed when they could affect how a resource is presented. Payment does not guarantee favorable placement or endorsement.
Urgent needs
CBOMH does not provide emergency response or clinical care. If there is immediate danger, call 911. In the United States, call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
