We are the change to the stigma.
We are a passionate group of individuals and organizations who believe in the power of community to drive change. Our mission is simple: to remove the stigma surrounding mental health and provide access to the support and resources that everyone deserves.
At the Community Board on Mental Health, we work closely with City Council, School Board, mental health professionals, behavioral services professionals, and other nonprofits to ensure that our community has the resources it needs to thrive. Our goal is to make Chesapeake a model for cities across the nation, where mental health is a top priority and everyone has access to the help they need.
Through partnerships, pledges, and community awareness, we are working to create a more supportive and inclusive community. We invite you to join us in this mission and help make Chesapeake a place where mental health is valued and everyone has access to the resources they need to thrive.
